Who this policy covers

This policy applies to theintegratededge.com, operated by The Integrated Edge, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. It explains what information is collected when you visit this site or contact us, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

Information is collected only when you choose to submit it. That includes the name, email address, and message you enter when requesting a conversation, and the email address you enter when asking to have an essay sent to you. These submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to a private inbox.

If you subscribe to the Reading Room, your email address is handled by Kit (kit.com), a third-party email service that manages your subscription and delivers the emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Plausible is a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal information, and does not track visitors across websites or over time. No advertising or cross-site tracking technology is used on this site.

Pages on this site load fonts and images hosted by third parties, including Google Fonts and Unsplash. Those providers may receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the file.

How information is used

Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry, to send material you have requested, and, where you have asked for it, to write to you occasionally about this work. It is not used for any other purpose.

What is never done with your information

Personal information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers or data brokers, and it is not used to build advertising profiles. It is shared only with the service providers described above, strictly to the extent required for them to operate the site, and only where they are bound to protect it.

Retention

Inquiries and requests are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence. You may ask at any time that your information be deleted.

Your choices

You may ask what information is held about you, ask that it be corrected, ask that it be deleted, or ask to stop receiving anything at any time. Any of these requests can be made by writing to debra@theintegratededge.com, and will be honored promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Confidentiality of conversations

Anything discussed in a discovery conversation is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to any third party. Engagement terms, including confidentiality obligations, are set out separately in the client services agreement.

Not directed to children

This site is intended for senior professionals and is not directed to anyone under eighteen. Information is not knowingly collected from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date above.
